About the role:
We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Civil Operator based in the Wastewater team at Balcatta.
As part of the district civil team you will be regularly outdoors, Operating, inspecting and maintaining reticulated water and wastewater systems.

What the role will involve:
Participate in safe job planning, team meetings and workplace inspections.
Demonstrate leadership by ensuring that all work is undertaken with safety as the first priority in the provision of a work environment where no injury is considered acceptable, and all activities are undertaken without compromising health and safety.
Operate, maintain, monitors and repair water, wastewater assets, operational sites and public facilities as required.
Participating in overtime and rosters as required.
Key skills and experience:
Certificate III National Water Package or willingness to work towards
Able to work in a wastewater environment (sewage) – relevant vaccinations required
Experience with SAP operating system
Western Australian MR or higher Class Drivers Licence
Current Confined Space, Working at Heights and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets
Experience in water supply and wastewater systems including :
Experience in CCTV work and Wincan reporting
Pipe patching/Re-lining of our assets
Experience with Jet Washing/Root cutting with the predator
Plastic welding access chambers and membrane installs
Ability to work a rotating roster
