Toowoomba Regional Council is seeking2 Permanent Full-Time Waste Transport Operators tojoin our Waste Services team based at the Greater WasteManagement Facility – Wellcamp.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating heavy vehicles and plant equipment
- Waste transport, loading and materials handling
- Supporting recycling and waste diversion operations
- Assisting customers safely at waste facilities
- Conducting routine maintenance and site upkeep
- Working within safety and environmental standards
You’ll work across a rotating roster:
- Tuesday to Saturday or
- Sunday to Thursday
Penalty rates, overtime and on-callopportunities apply.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:- Current HR Driver Licence
- Willingness to upgrade to HC Licence
- Experience operating heavy plant or machinery
- At least one of the following competencies:
- Front End Loader
- Excavator / Materials Handler
- Tracked Front End Loader
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Great customer service skills
- Forklift ticket
- Waste industry or civil construction experience
- First Aid Certificate
- White Card
