Machine Operator - Newton Depot

• Right-Connect is hiring a Machine Operator on behalf of a leading waste management organisation in South Australia. We have an opportunity available in Newton.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Machine Operator to assist in the daily operations of a small waste Facility. This role involves maintaining high safety standards, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient waste and resource recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the placement of waste and recyclables to maximise resource recovery.

• Operate onsite machinery and equipment as needed.

• Direct customer traffic safely within the transfer station and provide assistance when required.

• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of all facilities, roadways, and landscaped areas.

• Accurately complete required paperwork and records.

What You'll Need

• A valid drivers licence.

• Certification to operate plant machinery (must include Front End Loader & Skid Steer) *this is a must have requirement

• Available to work 6 days per week Monday - Saturday (Penalty rates apply)

• Understanding of Waste Management operations and equipment maintenance preferred but not essential.

• Basic computer literacy.

• Commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
