Description
Our client is a Local Council located South of the river, with a wide range of projects supporting in Waste Collection.Our client is seeking a Waste Collection Operator to join the Perth team in waste collection and disposal.
This position is a temporary contract with potential opportunities across Perth for permanent full-time for the right candidate.
Job Description:
- Ensure all rubbish bin collection services are carried out as per collection schedules.
- Report damages to rubbish and recycling bins in a timely manner.
- Report truck and associated plant breakdowns and maintenance requirements to the Supervisor Waste
- Undertake daily cleaning and greasing of trucks and associated plant in accordance with the prevailing lubrication and maintenance roster program.
- Complete all paperwork such as incident reports, daily operators reports and workers' compensation forms in a timely and accurate manner and issues non-compliance notices to residents as required.
- Current "HR" Class Driver's License
- National Police Check
- (Optional) Side Arm Operation Experience
