Job Title: Senior Waste Contracts and Projects Officer
Client: Logan City Council
Location: Logan, QLD
Rate: $58.06 + super
Duration: 8 June 2026 - 30 June 2026 (with potential for extension)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Waste Contracts and Projects Officer to support the delivery of waste management contracts and operational projects within a local government environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring effective contract performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across waste services.

• Manage and monitor waste-related contracts to ensure service delivery standards are met
• Support procurement processes in line with government policies and procedures
• Coordinate operational projects from planning through to delivery
• Engage with internal stakeholders and external contractors to resolve issues
• Prepare reports, documentation, and compliance updates
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within waste services

• Strong background in contract management within government or local council
• Experience in procurement processes and compliance requirements
• Proven ability in operational project management
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
