We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused HR Driver with a current C Class Driver's Licence and White Card to join our Waste and Resource Recovery team.

This role provides an essential service to the community through waste collection, bin maintenance, and resource recovery operations. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a supportive team, and making a positive contribution to the local community, we'd like to hear from you.
About the Role As a Waste Services Operator, you will safely and efficiently operate collection vehicles and assist with a variety of waste management and resource recovery activities across the region.
Key Responsibilities

• Operate collection vehicles to complete scheduled and ad-hoc waste collections.
• Service Containers for Change locations, public bins, Shire facilities, and event waste services.
• Undertake litter collection, illegal dumping removal, and roadkill disposal in accordance with safety and environmental procedures.
• Complete bin repairs, replacements, maintenance, and deliveries.
• Deliver and retrieve bins for events, new services, and service upgrades.
• Conduct daily vehicle and equipment pre-start inspections.
• Follow designated collection routes and service schedules.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and team members.
• Assist across all Waste and Resource Recovery operations as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and service excellence.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current HR Driver's Licence (essential).
• Current C Class Driver's Licence.
• Current White Card (essential).
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A reliable work ethic and positive attitude.
