Position Title: Food & Environmental Services Assistant – Thompson House Cleaning
Classification: IN14 Salary per hour: $27.07 + superannuation + generous salary packaging options
Employment Type: Ongoing part-time 48 hours per fortnight
Award: Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 Role description We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Environmental Services Assistant to join our team within a hospital and aged care setting. This role plays a vital part in supporting the delivery of high-quality care by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, residents, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities * Deliver patient and resident movement services, ensuring dignity, safety, and comfort at all times * Perform cleaning duties across clinical and non-clinical areas, maintaining infection control standards * Support laundry and waste management processes as required * Ensure all equipment and work areas are maintained to a high standard * Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold person-centred care principles About you * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Commitment to providing respectful, person-centred care * Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster Culture and Benefits Dhelkaya Health is located on Dja Dja Wurrung country in regional Victoria.
