Council Waste Drivers

Your Responsibilities:

• Daily Waste collections operating a HR Waste Truck & Hook Trucks
• On a seasonal roster, conducting daily verge and park rubbish collections on foot
• Assisting with removal & collection illegal dumping’s
• Working at the Landfill & Waste Stations
• Assisting general public at Landfill sites
• Working either 9 Day fortnights or a 1:1 Fixed Roster
• Conduct daily on-site duties as an Operator/Waste Management Attendant
• Load and Unloading waste materials from trucks/bins

Criteria:

• Experience in similar role min 1 year
• Valid driver’s licence (MR Required)
• White Card
• Must be available to work Weekends and Public Holidays
• Current National Police Clearance (< 3 months) – Clean Driving record (Required)
• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol test
• Be reliable, honest and a team player
