Company Overview
Southern Waste Solutions is the trading entity operated by the Copping Refuse Disposal Site Joint Authority, established under the Local Government Act, Tasmania. The Authority is owned by four local government councils in southern Tasmania.
Southern Waste Solutions operates the Copping Refuse Disposal Site and Lutana Waste Transfer Station. It provides waste solutions to its four owner councils as well as other local government council, State Government agencies and commercial customers throughout the State.
The Authority owns Tasmania's first C Cell disposal site, alongside its B Cell facilities at Copping.
