About the Role
You’ll help customers recycle correctly, keep the site safe and tidy, and make sure materials are reused or disposed of responsibly. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role working in hot conditions. Flexibility is required, including weekend shifts, weekday shifts, and ad hoc relief work as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Assist customers to unload and recycle materials safely
- Sort and stack items for reuse, recycling, or safe disposal
- Inspect loads and guide drivers to the right areas
- Keep the site clean, safe, and welcoming

What We’re Looking For
- Passion for recycling and sustainability
- Commitment to supporting people with disability
- Flexibility for shifts (weekends and weekdays)
- Licence and reliable transport
- Physically fit and able to move/lift items
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Willing to obtain Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Police Check
