Medical Waste Driver
Roster: Monday–Friday, 12am starts on 8-12 hour shifts Location: Yatala, Gold Coast
We are seeking a dependable and safety‑focused Medical Waste Driver to support daily collection operations across healthcare sites. This role involves a mix of driving, customer interaction, and physical labour, making it ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work and working independently. Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver medical waste bins to healthcare facilities on time and in line with scheduled routes
• Load and unload bins from the vehicle efficiently and safely lift and move medical waste bins weighing up to 30kg
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during all deliveries
• Follow all safety procedures, compliance standards, and site protocols
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and relevant staff regarding delivery progress, delays, or issues

Skills & Experience

• HR licence required
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred
• Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
• Able to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting (up to 30kg)
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance

Pre Employment Requirement

• Valid Police Check
• Drug and Alcohol Screening prior to commencement
• Hepatitis A & B vaccinations (must be completed before starting)
• COVID‑19 vaccination (preferred)
