Permanent, Full - Time Position, 70 hours per fortnight
 
Salary Range: $92,442- $107,433 per annum + super (subject to skills and experiences)

Reporting to the Manager Waste Services, the Coordinator Waste Operations provides direction and leadership in managing staff and other resources to ensure delivery of high quality waste services covering the range of services, projects and relevant operational areas within the Waste Management and Cleansing Unit portfolio.
 
This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of efficient, comprehensive, integrated, responsive waste services to the community and council. It is also responsible for behaviour change initiatives and developing new and innovative solutions to providing community best practice in waste management.
 
The position provides strong management and leadership of the Waste Operations Team including the development and management of budgets, staff, contracts, program delivery, policies, operations and systems. The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring staff within the team meet all the required milestones and for ensuring divisional directives are clearly communicated, implemented, monitored and evaluated by staff within the team.
