- Audit & Compliance Officer
Description
Reporting to the Head of Accreditation & Compliance, the Audit & Compliance Officer supports the delivery of TSA’s Accreditation & Compliance Program.
This is a hands-on role combining audit coordination, stakeholder engagement, data analysis and program support. You will work closely with participants across the tyre supply chain to ensure accreditation requirements are met, reporting is accurate and compliance risks are proactively managed.
The role offers flexible working arrangements, with three days in the Melbourne office and two days working from home. Travel within Victoria and interstate as required.
Key Responsibilities
Accreditation & Compliance Support
- Support delivery of the annual audit program for scheme participants.
- Coordinate onsite audits and follow-up actions.
- Monitor potential non-compliance using reports, data, imagery and external intelligence sources.
- Analyse audit findings and identify trends or risk areas.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with retailers, recyclers, collectors, local government and industry partners.
- Support onboarding of new participants into the scheme.
- Provide timely and professional communication via phone, email and CRM systems.
Data & Systems
- Maintain accurate master data within TSA’s CRM and reporting platforms.
- Support preparation of reports, dashboards, quarterly reviews and annual reporting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of accreditation and compliance processes.
Program & Project Support
- Assist with development of templates, forms and participant information materials.
- Support communications initiatives, including accreditation materials and events.
- Contribute to internal reporting, including preparation of Board or management papers as required.
About You
You possess a keen investigative mindset, excelling at delving into details and analysing data thoroughly, while confidently engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders to uncover insights and drive improvement.
You will bring:
- Experience in audit, compliance, regulatory, environmental or similar environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Confidence working with Microsoft tools and data systems.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
- An interest in sustainability, waste or recycling sectors, or a strong willingness to learn.
- A current Drivers Licence.
- Ability to travel interstate as required.
